WhineCube may not be the most popular GameCube emulator in the world, but it does a fairly good job for a few games. It is specifically developed for Microsoft Windows platforms – the initial requirement is Windows XP or newer, yet it might work on older versions too. It does require DirectX for full functionality though. The emulator has the primary goal to run DOL format executable files with a full emulation of the sound, pad and graphics. It comes with two cores, as well as an old fashioned HLE system. The latest version was released more than a decade ago, so the project was probably abandoned.
WhineCube was not so widely appreciated because it was not compatible with too many games. It does a pretty good job with BAM3K and Tetris Worlds though. The compatibility with Tetris Worlds was discovered soon after the latest release – no further updates on it.
