Available as an open source program, VBjin is a Virtual Boy emulator. It has been created for Microsoft Windows platforms only. There is a similar fork designed for Oculus Rift though – it shares the exact same features too. The emulator came out by merging the mednafen.9 core from Virtual Boy and the PCEjin emulator. It allows rerecording, as well as access to TAS tools.
VBjin is well featured and allows ROM loading over the command line, new Lua functions, the possibility to play music tracks in games, new menu items, wave file logging, an excellent RAM search and great sound quality. While designed with accuracy in mind, the developer has also boosted the speed a little – able of full FPS. No games are included in the package because they are copyrighted materials, so you will have to find ROM images yourself – the actual emulator is free though.
