Reicast

Reicast is a widely used open source emulator of Dreamcast. The emulator currently works on Windows, Linux and Android systems, meaning you can now play your favorite Dreamcast games on desktops, laptops, smartphones and tablets. It is not 100% original, but based on a few other emulators. It borrows some ideas from nullDC and nullDCe – current Dreamcast emulators for Windows and Android. However, it aims to bring in some updates and fix some small issues. Unlike other Dreamcast emulators, this one is still being updated and new versions may still come out. Furthermore, the emulator is likely to be ported to other platforms too.

Reicast is written with accuracy in mind. It is compatible with most Dreamcast games out there – no major issues or loops whatsoever. It comes for free, yet it does not have any ROM images in the package. Since they are copyrighted, users will have to get these images themselves.
